How many mm???

So I'm looking to get Salomon STH 14 bindings.  I weigh 150lbs, 5'8", and an intermediate freestyle skier.  Can someone tell me how many mm (millimeter) bindings I should get?  And what is the significance of the mm?

i think you might be asking what brake size?  what ski are you putting them on?

Yea, I think u mean brake size. If your skis are like 105 or more at the waist, you probably need the wide brake. talk to the shop where your getting them mounted. theyll set you up right.

Sorry for not clarifying.  I just bought '09 Ar6's.  I'm assuming sth's are better then z12's right because I had z12's but I feel that sth's are better?

armada ar6 ranges from 82-86mm underfoot, depending on ski length from 161-181 cm.  (according to backcountry.com)

then the salomon s14s come in 5 brakes sizes: 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, 115mm, 130mm (according to untracked.com)

so you would most likely choose the salomon sth14s with the 90mm wide brake to fit your ar6s.

anyone feel free to add/subtract.

A 90mm brake should be fine.
