I idiotically managed to let the inside of my wisdom lens get wet and smudged. The inside of the lens is now covered in a filmy fog which I am assuming is the damaged antifog coating, and it won't wash away. Has anyone had any success at removing damaged antifog coating so I can see out of my goggles again?
if they fogged on their own, oakley will replace them
however, they charge a fee to look at them, if they're brokedid, oakley will replace them, if not, you're out whatever you paid. with wisdoms it might just be cheaper to buy a new lens
Oakley will hook you up. They sold me a half price replacement when I cracked a lens once, so it'll be cheap or free for yours. Get a returns box from a dealer, call the number on the box first for an RA number then send them.
Haha, maybe I didn't make this clear. There is no manufactorer defect here, I got the lens soaked, tried to dry it and smudged the antifog coating everywhere, solutions?
Yeah Oakley still hook you up. I've had two pairs of glasses replaced free or cheap from stepping on them and from falling off my bike and breaking them. Get a returns box and call them, seriously.
