width is a pretty big facctor tho! but no i dont think there is the whole idea is the cryptonite is just a wider option for making it better for stomping bigger landings and for those who just prefer a wider base
The lengths are different too. But width changes all the specs of the ski - keep that in mind, so it'll have a different turning radius and act differently on different snow conditions.
The Crptonites are stiffer, and heavier. Better for jumps, all mountain. Chronic is a little better on rails and nearly as good at jumps and all mountain.
The cryptonites are so much softer than the chronic. I ski 181 chronics, and they hand flex really stiff, I saw the cryptonites at a shop and they hand flexed extremely soft, even softer than AR6's. I haven't skied a pair, but they are completely different than the chronic.
