dude, rasmussen is the most prestigious poll out there. It only polls american voters, the only people that matter when it comes to shaping policy. People on both sides of the spectrum laud the accuracy and objectivity of Rasmussen. It is extremely legitimate. Look it up.

I dont know much about the healthcare system down south, other then the fact people hear 'hospital trip' and feel sick/stressed due to the potential financial setbacks such a trip can cause.

its kind of weird. I identify myself as a conservative, but I completely agree with most of the stuff Obama says, and disagreed with everything Bush has said (barring the fact that he was an idiot). I would assume that Obama would be the Conservative

is it just me, or do the definitions of liberal and conservative mean something different in the US then they do here in Canada? It sure as hell seems that way.

first thing i learned in a govt class last year in college was that in the USA liberal is the left, and conservative is the right while everywhere else in the whole wide world is the exact opposite.

i won't speak for anyone else, but i'm canadian, and i view a conservative likely as a christian, who is anti abortion, pro guns, anti gays, and anti arts and culture, as per stephen harper.

it's because American republicans are the most conservative people in the world. i don't think we have a single politician in Canada that is a conservative as the US's most liberal politician. i mean, the U.S. is the most capitalist country in the world, if a politician was to get with the times and go liberal, he would not have any support. case in point, Obama says a couple of liberal things and people start screaming that he's a socialist. the real idiots say they're going to move to another country, little do they know that there is no country as conservative as the one they are already in.

hahaha yeah i don't know how i did that... that being said. just because more labor is outsourced there, doesn't mean you'll make a decent wage. i guess i didn't think about stating china as a conservative party, although they do have some neoconservatism, aside from that, from the stand point of their lives are more regimented and controlled, yes they are more strict, aka conservative, than north america.

It is your proposal then that no one should be allowed any healthcare that they cannot prove in advance that they can pay for? I mean it would probably be easier to just start rounding people up and killing them if they are determined to be a drain on society. Is this really what you are saying? 

It is outrageous in my mind that people are so quick to jump to the defense of insurance companies that are making an absolute killing at the expense of the average worker. I mean you guys are pissed at Obama when you should be pissed at the people that are actually fucking you. Idiot public...

i can be pissed at whoever i want.  im being slightly sarcastic here.

BUT, if you are gonna pick someone you should be pissed at its the idiots that sue doctors for no reason that cause healthcare prices to go up, which means that insurance companies have to pay more, which means my premiums go up, which makes me more irritable.  thats just what i think though.
