I can't remember the boot size I tried on

I tried on some FTs at the end of last season in either a 27 or 27.5 and they were awesome, but I can't remember which of those two sizes I tried. and the shop is 2+hrs away. I measured my foot to just under 10.4 inches. I would really not like to drive to the boot fitter again, so which size do you *EXPERIENCED* members think I should buy, based on my foot's length?

The shell size is the same for each boot. It doesnt change between a 27 and 27.5.

Yea, so I'm not sure whether the liner will pack out anyways if I go with the smaller boots

shell size is the same, what's your normal shoe size?
generally you can just do work with the liner to get them to fit the same so it doesn't matter a ton but that might've been a good thing to remember

10 is considered a 28, i always like my boots about a size small, so that would put you at 27
do you like snug boots or normal fitting?

FT halfsizes are pretty true to fit, and the liners dont pack out much.

The shop I went to wasn't that formal. I asked them to show me some boots I could fit into, they passed me some Dalbellos and some FT's and I was like "oh these ones fit nicely" on the FTs and then I left because I had no money.

Material wise there is no difference between the 27 and 27.5 boots from FT.  There is a slightly larger "metal foot" that is used to do the initial stretching and molding of the intuition liner, but once this liner is re-heatmolded to your foot you will be dealing with the same size of liner with the same amount of material in either.

Actually no.  There are 2 different sized liners, unlike most companies where it is just the footbed.
