Soo MTV's Made is coming to my school

They will have the person picked out in a couple of weeks. Since i have quite a hate towards MTV I want to do something funny, maybe ns related.I want it to be something subtle, (so it would go on tv without being cut out) yet funny. Any ideas?

haha I had a big thread last year on this. it was mtv filming a show on the girls hockey team at my school. I was holding up the back of my phone all the time getting the NS sticker in as many shots as I could.

the superintendent had enough of the bullshit after 2 months however and cut mtv loose. they were pissed.

it is not really all true. they were at my school two years ago and they make everything seem way more dramatized. I knew some people that were supposed to be trial dates or whatever and MTV just completely edited the footage to make some seem like douches and others to seem drama queens

Ok so I'm best friends with the dude who did this last spring, and BE WARY.


He got the girl to have a crush on him, and then totally established a hilarious amount of footage and mad ns references BUT IT ALL GOT EDITED OUT, AND HE GOT TURNED INTO A BAD GUY because some camera dude somehow captured him saying that he was doing it for tv exposure when he was OFF CAMERA.

BE WARY. His name is Alex Pritz, facebook him and ask him questions to make sure you learn from his MTV made mistakes.

MTV "made" this busted ass snowboard chick at mt. snow last year and she constantly walked around like her shit didn't stink. I don't think she got made into very much, she sucked.

I'm the kid who had the deja vous thread and boy do I ever have some advice for you. Wow. First off, realize that whatever you do, they will edit you into the character they want to portray you as. If you really do want screen time, the best way is to simply force your way into the show. Figure out what this girl (or guy) is like, and manipulate their situation, and what they want to get made into for your benefit. If you just show up at the skate park and start acting like Jamal Smith or something, they won't put it in. So much of the footage they use doesn't get put in. I had about four or five dates with the girl who got made from my school that simply weren't put onto the show... only five to ten minute's worth of two of them made the cut. You need to become a character, not just a cheap laugh. What does this person want to be made into? Definitely befriend their coach, too. That was one of my biggest mistakes was becoming the coach's enemy, although it did end up getting me more screen time in the end. Ah I am so excited for you! Fuck shit up for us all. Wear NS clothing nonstop. Be ridiculous. Having no moral boundaries is pro, as is kissing any personal inhibitions goodbye. Have fun, and keep us updated!

Weird, we just had a "Made" casting call last Thursday at my school (Oxford High School). I hate MTV so much. While at Windells last year, I saw first-hand how bad they misrepresented situations.

the MTV at windells thing was straight bullshit, they totally invented all of the drama that happned. i remember trying to cause as much trouble as possible for the cameramen/women and just yelling "PUSSYFART!!" every time we saw a camera in hopes that if we got pussyfart in enough shots, they wouldnt catch all of them and it would end up in the show, and the kid with the broken leg kept hanging out in the roadhouse, and he had this entourage of girls and one day i walked out of the shower mooning everybody in the living room only to realize it was filled with girls..
all the windells filmers made these vinyls that said "im not MTV" or something along those lines so we wouldnt throw snowballs or anything

enough about that

if for some reason you do find your way into a situation that is on film and might make the cut, dont focus too hard on dropping a NS reference or a joke or something, because the editors are really fucking good at picking up on that shit, they can smell something like that a mile away, and they will remove anything that fucks with the validity of their show, dont go around yelling "pee in her butt" or "robe and wizard hat" just.. wear NS t-shirts and doodle NS all over everything you carry around with you, and if your eating lunch and a camera is nearby try saying something like "these pretzels are making me thirsty" because thats harmless and they wont notice it
