IPOD and GIRO Tune-up problems

Hey I got an Ipod for christmas and I just got the Giro Tune-Ups put on my helmet. I used them together for the first time the other day. When inside the whole thing sounded great, but after the first run things started messing up. The song would get very quiet and then loud, and you could hear the background music very clearly but the singing was very faint. It was not even that cold, maybe 20 degrees. Does anyone know of any problems with IPods freezing or defects with the Giro tune-ups? I have a feeling that it might be the giro headphones since I have used the Ipod in semi cold weather. Let me know if anyone has had this same problem. Thanks!

i dont think its the ipods faught. i have had some difficulty with my tune up as well. basically you just need to rotate the cord around in either the ear peice or ipod. i think it just has a bad connection sometimes but if play around with it, it can fine toon but it does get annoying. that and my mute butten is sticky.

Yeah I was beginning to think it was the cord. I am going to bring mine back to Ski market and see if they will replace it. So no one has ever had any problems with IPods in cold weather?

maybe you should try your ipod with a different set of headphones and then try to plug your headphones into a CD player. see which one works. im guessing its a connection problem.
