I'm looking to get a new pair of skis this season, but I don't have a lot of money to spend. I have been looking at last years K2 extremes, Line afterbangs, Line masterminds, and last years Line Chronics. I'm about 5'11" and hit jumps a lot, but am looking to get better at rails. I really don't know what i should get but currently am leaning towards the Afterbangs. Anyways I'm looking to get some of your opinions so i can make a good desicion.
if your looking for inexpensive skis and it seems like you like lines look at last years anthoms there soft so wont be great on bigger jumps but there fun to jib on, the afterbangs are a little bit stiffer but still fun, and you can get last years anthoms for around 200 or a little more, then buy my sth 12 brand new for 125 pluss shipping and you got your self a hella good deal
ye anthems FTW solid ski gna be nice and buttery and good on rails as well as wide enough to stomp it on bigger jumps. check out sierra skis they got one pair left in 178 for 250$ and as for binders go Look PX12, Griffons or FKS if you can get em (BST forum)
