Suspects, T-Halls or Punx?

I need new skis and i ski most of the time in park, so which one would be a good choice for me, im 183cm tall..

09/10 Suspect

08/09 T-Hall

or

09/10 Atomic Punx

punx looks sick but idk anything about them, is it a good ski or should i forgot it and focuse on t-halls and suspects?

pssst...people on NS hate the suspect with a passion, why limit yourself to just those two there are so many good park skis

I myself am getting afterbangs for my park skis but i also have volkl bridges for freeriding the mountian, if you want a very versitile park ski try the kung fujas or the walls (walls are almost identical to bridges its just taht : bridges are all mountain that can do park, and walls are park skis that can do all mountain.

BUUUUT if you're really just going to go with those two chices (t-hall or punx) i would say T hall just cuz i heard theyre better all around, i dont know much about the punx

Okey, so no suspects :D

Cause i can get those skis under 350euros with binding and thats my budget.

yep it helped me, but i would like to know something good/bad from atomic punx, has anyone tested them?

I haven't tested punx, but i may have some valuable information for you. I have my 2010's ready to be picked up from the shop 10/2 so I've done my fair share of research on them. They are a medium-flex ski, (quite similar to the ar6 in that respect) which is symmetrical and primarily focused on usage in the park. I talked to a user on here named rYb who was a tremendous help, and he had skied the 09s/10s. He said that although they were primarily a park ski, they still ripped it on groomers, (crud not so much) and he actually did a couple high school races with them mounted center. How heavy are you? rYb said that if you are my weight (100-125ish pounds) you're going to have to put a decent amount of weight into them to butter, but they are still capable. Just send a message to rYb and he should be a great guide on whether you want them or not. peacceeeeeeee

So I don't know much about Punx, but I know they're a sick ski that is stiffer than the T-Halls. I have skied T-Halls, and they are so much fun, I nice soft ski that kills it in the park, plus they made it stiffer so it wont noodle off jumps, which is good (mine were the noodles and that's no fun). My vote is T-Halls, but you can't go wrong with Punx either.

nah theys stiffened em up last year. if your worried about not being stiff enough, maybe look into the ar6, its a bit stiffer.

i got a pair of punx for this season (spring in NZ) have to say that i wouldnt take these off piste at all. it was squary. PUNX FOR PARK / GROOMED ONLY.

they are a the best park skis ive ever had though.

okey i dont have chance to ride pow here in south finland so i just ride park all the time, then the punx will be a great ski for me

I'm from south Finland and i have skied with the Punx for almost a year now. Works real well. I like them more than my T-halls i had before them. They're so light and quick on rails but still stable on jumps.
Buy them, you won't regret it

so look at Line abangs, anthems, even invaders or Armada AR6, pipecleaners......go somewhere you can get a good selection to test em out then let that make your decision!

Punx would be perfect, but yeah the tips and tails do rise a bit within the first few months of skiing on them. Nothing scary, just so you're not surprised.

Suspects are hands down, the best ski i've ever skiied! I would go for the Suspects if i had to choose. Buy the 181 model if you're going for them.

either the suspects or the punx.

They dont with stand ANY abuse.

After a battle with their warranty department I got them warrantied and the second pair lost all their camber and had tip and tail rocker within 2 months.

suspects have a reputation for extremely poor durability, and supposedly they could break after the first couple days. For the people who have claimed they have no durability problems, they said they were the best park skies they'd ever owned. to be honest with you, I wouldn't buy them. Taking the chance for a defect pair of skis, and the also rumored poor warranty department just isn't worth it.

i used mine for booters and cased them afew times. mine dont look anywhere near that bad.

You must have been hitting a pretty big jump, I respect you for that, but for me, in my opinion, as a young grom who is actually pretty decent, they were perfect.

Im glad you had a better experience than I did with your skis however their warranty department sucks and I told them that I would do everything in my power to tell people how much their warranty department sucks. They wouldnt refund me the first time (they insisted I get the same skis) and wouldnt replace them when they broke the second time which was 2 months later. Im living up to my end of the deal.

I know about the warranty department man, and the fact that they arn't that durable, but mine are in pretty good condition for what i've been doing on them.

so im getting the 09/10 punx but i cant decide what lenght should i pick, 173cm or 182cm i do 60%rails and 40&jumps. im 183cm..

How much do you weight? But the 182's would probably be best for you cause 173 is too short as a park ski for someone who is 183 cm.

I have punx. They are quite soft, and I'm skiing a size up from what I should be on and still saying that. Yes they rip groomers just fine, and no you don't have to put that much weight into them to butter well. This being said I have the 07/08's I think, so they may have changed things up.
