Binding recommendation for my bro...

Alright, so he's 6'4" probably going on 6'5", and he probably weighs about 170-180. I'm going to throw him on my Larose's just because they are a tad too long for me. What binding should he get? PX18's?

I wouldn't go with the 18 then. Head Mojo 15/Tyrolia Peak 15 might be a good choice. I'm thinkin something on the burly side (because of his height/weight) that has a wide DIN range, so it's not overkill. PX 15 might work. Or Jesters.

i recommend something that goes to 15 but with a minimum din that can comfortably fit like 7 or 8, he should start out pretty low and then as he gets better/skis harder he can have room to adjust

im the same height and weight as him and I mark a 3+ when I adjust my bindings, and I still test at a 9, if he only marks a 2 or 3 skier type he will test at around a  7.5 I would guess. There are plenty of look/rossi 14 din bindings that are a 6-14 din range, and all have vertical relesase, plus they can all be had for cheap.

I am shorter and weigh slightly less, but if i went according to the chart, 3+ would be 11.  YOu must have a huge foot.

dins go up with a smaller boot size, and down with a larger boot size.
