I was looking at pros like simon and wondering how does simon dumont use a 9-16 DIN range binding? how far up are they setting their DINS? also how do you guys set your DINS for park, pipe, trees, powder etc?
do yourself a favor and don't adjust them yourself. no offense but if you are asking this question you should not be touching your bindings. you will know if you need to crank them up.
Yeah, ski the bindings for a few weeks at low DIN and if theyre ejecting when they shouldnt crank them up a little, ski them some more, rinse and repeat. Its better to eject randomly for a few weeks than miss your season on a torn ACL.
i ride roxy demo bindings at 3, they only come off when i put them on edge so i'm cool with it, i might upgrade to look nova 10's though if my mom hooks me up with some skrilla
you can't compare yourself to the pros. they range in weight and ability. dont be an idiot an crank them up all the way.( unless ur dins only go up to like 12) set them to where u can stomp all ur shit an not pre-release.
I usually have a shop mount/set mine, always at skier type 3 or 3+. I leave them there so if anything goes wrong, I have no problem with the warranty or harassing the shop for a bad mount job or w/e.
