Utah ski trip help

hey NS and SLC locals, Im goin to SLC over February brake and will be staying right at the bottom of little copper canyon. what at the resorts to hit?i live on the the east coast so i want to get the full experience. also night life? bars food anything just put what you know out ill take anything.

Where is this Little Copper Canyon? I've lived in UT the past 2 season but I don't think I've heard of it before...

It's Little Cottonwood Canyon. For Pow hit up Alta or the Bird. They have some gnarly terrain, fun cliffs, etc. February is usually a good pow month. For park PC is where it's at. Although I've heard The Canyons has stepped up their park game. Night life, Park City seems to have quite a lot going on all the time if you know where to look and downtown SLC is 20 minutes away from the base of Little Cottonwood.

The day of a storm ride alta or snowbird.  If it's a couple of days after a storm, ride solitude.  Black forrest, Honeycomb, and powderhorn gates will keep for quite some time.  You' ll just have to traverse for it and duck through some trees to find the open glades.  Enjoy.

there are bunches of bars and fun night stuff to do in slc. dont know how its going to be through the winter but tuesdays at teh vfw ... pimp shit. lumpys downtown has real ill drink specials as well. as for resorts definately go check out a day at each resort. theyre all pretty sick for sure! one kind of an idea is to go spend a day hiking around grizzly gulch too, there is a wicked easy cattrack you can take up and it delivers some decent skiing spots from there plus its all pretty mellow pitches and the sorts

everything up little cottonwood and big cottonwood is terrible, you really dont want to ski there because you wont get the full utah experience. if you want the full experience you shoudl definitley go to deer valley/park city area.

seriously though, snowbird and alta get tracked out on storm days in like 3.5 seconds. solitude is pretty dope and so is brighton. if you wanna drive go to snow basin, i got a bluebird powder day there last febuary and it was epic, theres like nobody there so all the goodies stick around for a while.

it seems if you go to utah it is a mandatory thing to go ski alta and snowbird.

To say you conquered little cottonwood canyon road....


Oh here is a worthwhile question that could be answered by the resort anyways...does it cost to park at any of the ski places?
