PK recovery info??? (Injury from JOI)

So wondering how PK was coming along, and wonder if anyone has any info on when the dude will be back.

He won't compete at London freeze, for sure. But he will be back within a short period after that event I believe.

the snow was too soft for how far he was dropping from. he landed really far down the landing and his skis pretty much got stuck in the slushy snow.

yea man freestyle ch got me thinking about how hard PK killed the big airs last fall....then I was like damn I hope he is recovering well. Hasn't been that much info on his recovery. Hope the dude gets better and starts slaying shit again

i think if he ejected he may have not broken his back looks like having his skis on messed him up more then anything.

I watched the video a bunch and froze the shot below.  It looked to me like he got cross rutted.  He landed way down the hill and unfortunately landed where someone had carved out.  Before his skis came off, you could see that he was heading into the splits.  If his bindings hadn't released, he'd probably be looking at a dub acl to go with the neck injury.  Hope he's back soon, cause he was way fun to watch last year.

You're right.  My bad.  It's been awhile since I watched the video.  I'm still pretty sure that he landed in someone else's track.  He was spot on perfectly centered.  Where this shot was frozen you could see his skis going out to either side.  He didn't just crumple and eject like you would if you just went way too big.  It definitely looked like the most air that anyone had off the jump that night, but he didn't run out of landing hill. 

I've had this happen to me before.  When the landing is soft and you land with one foot where some else has turned out, it's game over.  It happens so fast you don't even have time to react.  It looked like that's what happened to PK.

his din must be up there.... 80 (have no idea how big the jumps is looks way bigger then that) plus foot jump and considering how deep he took it and how much speed you need to hit that jump and his bindings didn't come off
