Thanks for the comments.. at least the earnest ones.
Ah what the hell, it wouldn't be NS without the sarcasm! I'm glad you did it 2.34 years ago, too bad it wasn't on my ipod. And as for innovation... why don't you make your own damn bandanas and mouspads and t's and why don't you go peel those NS stickers off your car while you're at it?
I bet I'll get hate for that!
And to those of you who want a one of those babies.... they're costly. You better have 17 grand laying around for one of the 24 X 12 machines! My HS got really lucky, we share that with two other high schools in the district.
Ha, we have a few epilogues in my lab, im still trying to decide what to exploit it with. They let us use the epilogues ANY time we want for no cost, so my mind is just running wild with ideas.
I'm only allowed to use it when the teacher's there. I'm in high school, and I'm not even in the class anymore. The teacher just knows that I know the Epilog, and the CNCs better than any other student, and about as well as he does. So I can use it whenever.
You can engrave on pretty much everything, except for PVC hard metals without any coating. Stone, yes. pillows, yes. ipods, yes. tshirts, yes. acrylic, yes. wood, yes.
PVC's a no because it yellows and can ruin the laser, hard metals just don't take a dent.
Everything else, you can engrave, or just cut straight through. Ah, the wonders of vectoring and rastering!
