Well, on July 1st, Grand Targhee announced (in the way of one sentence at the bottom of their season pass page) that they will not have a terrain park for the 09-10 season. Of course, we know that this decision will hurt them financially and drastically lower the support of loyal riders. So, I invite anyone who ever has, does, or ever will ski at Grand Targhee to voice their opinion through an email to the resort. The only address I have found is info@grandtarghee.com. Please take just a few minutes to write them and help save the park. Its kind of interesting that they invite pros to their resort for super sessions (Sammy Carlson, Sage, etc.....) and build them monster features and what not, but will not build anything for the loyal skier down the street.
Please help keep Grand Targhee's reputation as a freeride-friendly resort that way!
