no im not crazy
my skis are getting fixed right now and the store says theyre giving my a free pair till theyre fixed but NO TRICK SKIS. so im pissed, what should i get for a 100% groomed really flat trails?

i aslo want to do tricks with them too

atomic supercross is amazing, i got a chance to demo those and loved them but couldn't rationalize buying them because groomers bore the shit out of me. also try atomic r11's for bigger arcing turns.

my 6-stars are fun on groomers.

just go for any stiff ass 'race' or carving ski. just don't jump/trick on them being as most twin-tips are barely as stiff as intermediate skis.

^They beat me to it... just because it isn't a ''trick ski'' doesn't mean it can't have a high tail. B2s if you have any pow at all, b1s if you don't. THey ski awesome everywhere. Or, if you live at Baker or some other powder hill, 195 B3's! I rented those there, they're the best pow skis ever. Huge, though.

Agreed, if you know the basics of skiing, and are familiar with the carving concept, racing skis is the way to go.

My dad let me use hes 03 Head Monster I.M 75's and they worked amazing on groomed hard pack, they also work good in slushy conditions also. I would recomend them.

oh man, forgot bout Head, theyre sick skis. that Intelligence system, or whatever they call it is one of the most innovative ski designs i can think of. having the flex adapt to the conditions musta taken some kinda genius to figure it out

yeah, thats why they dont put the intelligence system in thier racestock skis. good technology indeed. get the atomic sx:11 it's the same ski off the shelf that the aft guys use.

The Volkl 5 star is a lot more fun of a ski than the 6 star in my opinion. The thing rips everywhere. You dont have to be on every turn with it like you do with the 6 star. Great ski.

well, in race stock, they know what theyre gonna be skiing on, icy race courses, with the occasional rut. so of course theyre not gonna put it cause theres no need. the intelligence system is for changing conditions, ie. the all mountain ski
