What would you guys say is the best way to export from premiere pro CS4?
By best i mean the best mix of quality and file size.

depends whats your audience
h264 for web
mpeg2 for dvd
imo wmv for personal playback

thanks +K for the idea, but i was thinking more about compression, bitrate, and quality settings, rather then the format, i usually use;
Quicktime format (.mov)
H.264 compression
100% quality
so any ideas on bitrate?

im having problems with this. it all worked fine in cs3, i usually exported below 5mbps and came out fine. now in cs4, when i do this it exports way darker and grainier looking than before. what the hell?

i usually go 8000 bitrate. some people vary with that tho.
