Editor of Skiing magazine says "Nobody wants to harm Level 1, and--I repeat--no one is suing for cash. A legal thing about infringement."

That is not true, they ARE suing for cash!

The people involved with this are straight up LYING. They're trying to kill Refresh and put level 1 out of business with fucking legal fees...if they weren't, they would have called and tried to work something out, rather then dropping a ridiculous lawsuit and attempting a restraining order.

That's absolutely absurd. they are suing for legal fees and for damages, which is a ton of cash. They even have an in-house lawyer who is probably on salary, and they are still suing for legal fees - fucking goldminers.

warren miller is no longer affiliated with warren miller entertainment, i think since the last 6 years or something. they only use his past voice clips and edit them so it sounds like he is commentating on the new movies or something like that. he is not involved with the people who are suing.

i think the only way this gets solved without L1 taking a hit is if Warren himself gets involved! I know it would be in his best interest to stay away from all of this, but if he truly cares about the sport then he'd step up and defend L1!

WME cant own warren miller the person, or his voice, so unless warren miller signed a contract when he "sold out" that he wouldnt make any more movies or narrarate any movies, none of this will stand. unless warren miller wanted to let everyone know what was going on and pretty much set berman up for disaster while ruining WME. Warren miller should let berman use his attorneys.

either way, I stopped watching WME at least five years ago, and so did everyone else.

WME is the most crooked shit ive heard of, they took a mans idea, ruined it, and pushed him out. then pretty much legally blackmailed him from ever making another film, which was the mans passion. this event is the sad reality of america.

this country wasn't built by men in suits, but it will be ruined by them.
