Looking for work and housing in steamboat

Im a kiwi and im looking for work and somewhere to live in steamboat. Was meant to be working at the resort but my visa sponsor agency over here is now telling me they will only allow my visa till end of Feb which kinda messes everything up and now the resort wont hire me. Any idea/help much appreciated. Chances of finding work over there if i arrive in start Dec?

Yeah, my mom is the general manager for a condo complex, and company the company she works for, "steamboat resorts" is always hiring people to work at the front desk, and house keeping. don't know if that's what your looking for, but i know it pays pretty well. and as far as housing, there's usually people looking for roomates.
