i just bought a pair of fkx and in one of the pics one heel was like way higher than the other i asked a few people on here they didnt know what i was talking about. heres is an example of what im talking about. my question is this a common occurence for these bindings and is it a big problem:
FKS HEEL PROBLEM from Victor Bruce Petrella on Vimeo.
It seemed fine with the boot in. And I don't think they are supposed to pivot easy, especially with your boot clicked in. I always saw that as a terrible design flaw in the binding. It doesn't seem like having a bar extend out from the back that is held on by rivets would work too well. I have never had the chance to use FKS, so this is just an observation. Have a shop tech check it out maybe?
yea just to clarify these arent my bindings but by pivot you mean side to side not up and down like these are. and i think the bar just keep the heel at the proper height for you to click i. withoust i think your heel would sag and you would have to pick it up. idk i cant wait for them to arrive and scope them out.
Bindings are good man no worries. I have quite a few pairs and some move a little easier then others nothing to worry about. once you lock the boot in your set.
