my roommate is also a skier, so I don't feel like a douche when he walks in on me in full gear with boots and skis on in the middle of the living room. and if he wasn't a skier, i wouldn't care. it's september. i'm fiendin' for some snow. deal with it.

Dude, safety meetings are key, especially if you meet people on the hill who want to have one with you. Idk about you guys but I'm always safe when I ski :)

I haven't had new equipment in soooo long. Now every time I do pre-season dress ups, I just smell like rail rust and year old sweat and proceed to throw up in my mouth a little. Then I look in the mirror and realize how street hood I look, and I shrug and take my stuff off.

I see no satisfaction in putting anything other than my down jacket on to walk outside when its cold or snowy. I just never found it fun to put all my ski shit on, seems like a waste of time. I could be doing something else with my time.

Yeah man, my mom walked in on me doing that.. it was a little embarrassing.
But even worse, but not really, two weeks ago my girl came to visit me and so we were doing the dirty and one of my roommates walked in knowing what was going on.. I mean come on man! There was an effing tie on the door!  Needless to say I wanted to shank him
