Replying to Attn: CS PLAYERS

I've tried multiple times to curb a problem I've been having. Occasionally, and in no obvious pattern I'll recieve this message while playing Counter-Strike:

NET_SendPacket Error: WSAEINTR

At which point my game will completely crash.
For you're reference, I'm on Internet Explorer (latest version), I'm fully updated with Virus and Microsoft software, I run the mod version of CS not the retail version. I'm on a wireless, Linksys, highspeed network (3 comps). The problem doesn't occur when I surf wild cyber space only when I play CS, so I'm guessing it has to do with CS itself - but I'm still not sure.

Suggestions?
