No dude, I totally understand.  I would have been in the car but I get super paranoid high or drunk and don't want to go near cars or vehicles of any kind intoxicated cause one, I don't want to get arrested, two, fear of a wreck, and three, to avoid going near my parents when I am intoxicated cause I don't think I could keep myself straight while I am near them intoxicated.

Just got off the phone with an old female friend from middle school's mom.  Someone at a party got high tonight and ran off the road and hit a couple of 10 year olds playing catch.  Yeah, driving high is totally safe.  Kids aren't dead but one has their rib cage crushed and a punctured lung, another has a ruptured spleen, bruised liver and three cracked ribs, and he last one has a fractured skull, 5 broken vertebrae, and a broken femur.  Yeah, weed doesn't impair decision making or motor skills of any kind.

first off, some people are assholes. i dont like it.
dip, however, is the shit. i think its gross, unhealthy, and gets costly. i used to dip everyday at work, after work, before work, when i was doing work. shit, its that good. however, my gums and lips started to ache, like alot. so i started bummin cigs off friends and now im hooked on that shit. to all you kids out there that might be thinking about trying it, have no hesitation, its good to experience new things. HOWEVER, moderation is key, if you wanna try, do it, get that shit out of your way and dont come back to it. packing one lip isnt gonna get you hooked. hell, packing a tin wont. but, dont get adddicted. im trying to quit smoking right now and its hard as hell, plus expensive and i cant do shit like i used to. damn, this turned into a pretty long post, hope im contributing well

Like I said in the other post I made, I have a lot of sympathy for you and your friends that passed in their accident. I don't want to be mean or for you to take this the wrong way but plain and simple, your friend who hit the kids is an idiot. I can't make assumptions about the way he was driving but I'll throw out there that I bet he was going over the speed limit, not paying attention to the road, maybe saw what was going on and tried to avoid it but his reaction time was slowed so he couldn't.

I have driven high a fair share in my time. Never have I gotten behind the wheel stoned and decided to speed or mess around with something in the car. I get in, make sure everyone has their seat belt on, and drive away. I stay the speed limit and make sure to not swerve and keep my full attention on what I am doing. The biggest thought that goes through my mind the whole time is that I am responsible for the safety of everyone in the car and everyone else around me.

I'm not condoning the act of driving under the influence of anything but if you choose to make the stupid choice to do so then you need to do it in a very controlled manner. Don't speed, don't fuck with stuff in the car that takes your attention away from the road, don't text, etc. Keep your eyes on the road and be safe. If you can avoid getting behind the wheel then do it. Walk, ride a bike, hitch a ride, something besides driving a car on your own.

Take what I say with a grain of salt because not everyone will agree with me. I'm not here to cause bad feelings or make anyone upset, I'm just stating my opinion. Be safe out there.

Im going to man up and say that i started chewing to be cool, or maybe just cause all my friends were doing, maybe peer pressure who knows. But theres really no good reason to do it. Its terrible for you, girls hate it, although i trained my girlfriend to kiss me when i have a dip lol. I would say its better than smoking though. And nothing is better than chew on a long drive.

By the way anyone who chews a lot and doesnt chew cope or grizzly wintergreen is a pussy. Grizz green is by far the strongest chew you can buy dont, argue go buy a can.

Understandable.  Last night I was worked up over a number of things (not related to NS at all) and needed to vent.  I know you didn't say I started a new thread, but I was saying at least I didn't start a new thread.  I've said just about everything else I want to so I'd just be repeating myself if I said them again.

To whoever said something along the lines of dip not being bad or something like that to me, I don't wanna find them and quote them and double post:  I never said that I had anything against dip.  Some of my good friends dip and I have never criticized them for it.  While I would never do it and do not think that it is particularly healthy I'm a big proponent of letting people do what they want.

Sorry for the partial thread jack.

I'm done in this thread now.
