The sense of togetherness at the refresh premier.

I attended the Refresh world premier at the Bluebird and the movie was sick (obviously).

But I really just want to tell everyone how truly and genuinely happy I was that night. Was I walking around smiling like I was simple? Yup. I was smiling my ass off because I was surrounded by people that understand my obsession with skiing and can speak the language of skiing (trick names and such). I was also surrounded by friends that I have met while skiing and while simply living life. Everywhere I looked, there was another friend that I loved. I now know what popular kids feel like at parties. I just walked around shaking hands and socializing. I felt like "this" is what life is supposed to be. The vibe was like a mix between christmas morning by the tree (everyone was a skier, making us a family) and a rap battle (the crowd roared at everything they found good, from the DJ Hathbanger to the film itself). Once the film started, it was mayhem and I loved it. I've never seen a group of people so stoked on anything. It was inspiring. It was unifying. Thank you, everyone.

its funny how every freeskier I've met just does share my stoked. i think i know way to much about skiing or something because no one ever seems to know what I'm talking about haha. i guess it would be better when your at a movie premier but still.

Unity in the ski world is amazing and I love it.

Want to see some more brotherhood? Make sure and check out MSP's "In Deep" when it rolls through your town. Amazing movie. Make sure and see it at a live venue.

Really stoked to hear thats the vibe that people picked up on at the Denver premiere... that was really the whole goal of this year's film.

In related news, we're doing it again tomorrow night at the Boulder Theater in downtown Boulder, CO, and despite some pretty fierce last minute legal actions to stop this from taking place, we're moving forward with it, so if you weren't able to make it to Denver, don't let this one go down without checking it out!

(Trip. Threat world premier-)
I liked it alot, but so many of the kids there were fuckin borring with 0 stoke, that was the bad part.

But it's kinda your choice too how good it was..I went with a bunch of friends and I very much enjoyed the beatdown for gear throwouts(which there were alot of).  I came out with a slightly crooked nose.  And Skull Candys, a superrrr cumffyyyy hat and some other stuff.  Nothing big though,  but honestly I just went there to have fun and I loved the movie too... so maby if you go in with a negative idea in your head then you would have blended in with the borring no stoke people, and would have not enjoyed it.

I went by myself because my douschebag snowboard friends (not that I have anything against boarders, just these kids) wouldn't go with me, and it was still one of the sickest ski movies I've ever been to, down to the vibe, the music, and the movie, everything.

So, basically I completely agree with you. In other news, it might snow 2moro in Denver!! Soo stoked.
