Just caught a turtle

found a turtle crossing the street, its about 4 inches, and im about 90% sure its a green turtle. pics coming soon.  im naming him franklin templeton

was googling, and found out its not a green turtle its a box turtle, and it can close up its shell. its ill. i have to go get it some lettuce and shit though, maybe some crickets

gotta get a sick set up for him. nice long tank with a rocky beach so he can swim and then some beach to chill on land and of course get him a heat lamp on the far side. or maybe an island in the water.

you should get it checked out by a vet if you keep it. i have a turtle, and youll just want to make sure it doesnt have salmonella and if it's healthy...but really...i'd think it should stay in the wild...my aquarium is 4 feet long and i'd imagine even for a turtle it's quite boring in there...and by the way, cleaning the tank really sucks... lol it's about every week with a filter and cleaning the filter every other day. my turtle is about 9 inches

no i don't need an aquarium for it. its a box turtle... which the internet taught me is a land turtle and will occasionally go in water. i already have it set up with these wood chips i got at the pet store, it has a heat lamp from my past snake and lots of cool shit to play with!

turtles can be fun pets, but their tanks smell like old man nuts if you don't clean them often.

my roomate and i had a 10 year old russian tortise named milly that had the run of our condo as long as there weren't any dogs visiting.

at first she was a cool pet, but she got to be too finicky for us to handle and she was sold to someone with more time on his hands to play with tortises.

snapping turtles hiss and fuck shit up. i was messing with a big one at my neighbors pond and it bit through the leather and into the steel of my steel toe boots and took out a good chunk of the rubber sole.

paint his shell red and white so it seems as if hes wearing a g suit and paint his legs blue so it seems as if wearing fulltilts. Then, hold him like a foot above your sofs and drop him and spin him so he learns 3's. Then, with progression get him up to 10's, and 12's and make him do kangaroo flips

do what rob dirdek did and take him to a turtel racing bar and get super wasted and then bet on him to win. oh and make sure u get a super hot chick to drop him in the middle it allways helps your chances. and if he looses just put him back in the middle of the road where it belongs
