Brenttonwoods nh

so me and my buddys just planed a trip to brentton woods in NH and just wanted some feed back on how it is there. were renting 2 12 person cabins one is half way up the mountain and the other is at the bottom.

just wanted to see what you guys thought of the place never been up to northern NH sking were going january 10 to the 15

super lame, prob the flattest pitch ski area in new england, skip it and drive like 15 mins to cannon for some real backcountry, or to loon or attitash, or even wildcat, all are better.

loon. but if you are going to be up in that area you could go for attitrash, bretton woods is mad flat

There are some fun tree runs if you can find them, but Cannon is definitely a better bet.  Go to Loon if you want it to be frigid, windy, and icy.

depends on conditions more than anywhere else i've been i think. If theres enough snow, the tree runs can be fantastic.

either way though, its gonna be flat. I'd recommend you do maybe 1 day there, then see what else there is around there. Cannon isn't bad, attitash is good, and cranmore isn't too bad for park. Loon might be a bit far depending on how far you wanna go. (I'd say its like a good hour or so away)

b woods is fun for some smaller elements, you pretty much have a choice of a decent (small) jump line, biggest gap is 30 feet, or a line of maybe 5 small rails. you would get bored if you were there for more than a couple days. they do have some decent wood lines tho, and if your daring you could visit there woodland (bike) park.

bretton is flat and the park sucks. but the woods arnt too bad if theres enough snow

Bretton Woods is Good after it snows for the other trees, otherwise its not that great and night skiing there just sucks since its all ice. Go there for one day and hit up cannon or attatish

If you know where to go, Bretton is awesome.  If there is fresh snow, head to Rosebrook Canyon or any of the tree runs off the West Peak.  All the mountains in this area suck unless there is fresh snow.  Loon has a good park, but if there sint fresh snow, its almost always as hard as a rock.

are you guys gettin ski passes this year? I'm a UNH rep for the mountains so i can hook you guys up with the college discount for the New England Pass (loon, sunday river and sugarloaf) and the 4-NH pass (cranmore, cannon, waterville and bretton woods). they are 329 and 289 respectivly so long as you are enrolled as a full time student

New England Pass

well this sucks were going up there with 24 people and were getting cabins there. but on the bright side i have a mount snow seasons pass which is good for Attitash and a few other my buddys will have that maybe so they can come. 

and to answer grahm with whos the UNH Rep we already have gotten 5 days worth of tickets for like 200 bucks
