alright so yesterday i watched one of the most touching segments ever...Shane's seggy in MSP was flippin amazing...it was amazing to watch and im not ashamed to say that i cried out during his whole segment...one of the most touching things i have ever watched...starting the standing ovation got my night kicked up a notch
Shane's part was so sick it was really sad leading up to the jump....but after that it really showed who shane was and it was so gooood such sick skiing guy has huge balls and was funny as fuck, RIP
i cant quite remember...i think they showed the start of the jump or another jump just insinuating it...but they didnt show the full flow out...that would have been too heartbreaking
they didnt show the actual jump they cut right before it, it would have been too bad to watch but it was still hard to watch and hear the people that were there talk about it...
Yeah man, very touching. My girlfriend doesn't (didn't) know who Shane was so I gave her a brief background about Saucer Boy, his goofball antics, and about him taking a pair of water skis down the mountain. Once his segment led into a different direction, she started crying although wasn't sure why because she doesn't have the connection to the ski life that all of us have. The footage at the end made him seem like the most lovable guy and a person that everyone should surround themselves with. It's a shame that we won't see more Shane in the future, but I feel very fortunate to have a guy like Scott Gaffney throw him in front of the camera and hit record.
