FT Booters vs. Hot Doggers

Alright, sorry in advance for creating yet another FT thread. There have been WAY too many, but I'm looking for some help.

So yesterday I went into my shop and was thinking bout getting some 2010 Full Tilt Booters. I tried on 26.5 because that's what I was fitted into last year. They fit OK (my toes could touch the front of the boot, dont know if thats bad). Then I decided to try on the 27.5. They fit a little more comfortable, I'd say (didnt touch the front with toes). Next, I tried on 27.5 in the 2010 Hot Dogger. FIT VERY DIFFERENT. Alot bigger than the 27.5 Booter. In addition, I felt as if the heel/mid sole fit was also different. It felt alot more narrow.

Here's my question: Do the Booter and Hot Dogger have different fits? Are the heel/midsole area's shaped differently?

the booters are like 2mm wider in the toe if that sounds right

both models have the wider toe box (2mm). It felt like the Hot doggers had a very narrow heel and mid sole. like a small ditch for your foot to fit in, if that makes any sense

I think it has to do with the liner. When I got mine they were REALLY tight, then they heat molded them and they fit PERFECTLY, however they probably wont let you heat mold them without buying them, so it's hard to tell which one will fit better. I'm 99.4% certain that they have the same sole, however the liners are different, the Booter has the performer liner (low end) and the Hot Dogger has the Pro liner (high end) so that's probably what you're feeling, which if that's the case it will fit once it's heat molded. I would go with the Hot Doggers if you have the money, cause the liner is better and the cable cover is very helpful, hope that helps.

I tested both and skied in them and I personally liked the stiffer flex of the booter and besides the tongue stiffness really didnt notice too much of a difference between the 2 so I went with the booter because of it being cheaper and the stiffness of the tongue

The shell is essentially the exact same shape/everything.  The liner is just a little thicker in the hotdogger so it fits tighter. 
Buy my 26.5 booters.  word.

the booters are like 2mm wider and a fair bit softer

the hot doggers are more for big park features
