my best job was working at Zumiez (yeah, they sell snowboards). I made 7.25 an hour (min wage was 6.25 at the time) But 2% commission on sales over $100 which was easy cause I was a girl working the skate counter and every purchase was over $100 pretty much. I would average around $15 an hour. 50% discount any time I sold over $2000 in a day, $20 gift card every time i sold over $4000 in a day. That and every year they sent those of us that made over $100,000 in the year on an all expense paid trip to Utah to go snowboarding (I no longer snowboard).
Now I work at a ski shop so I haven't moved to far up in life... But I get paid more hourly but don't get commission. I do get shop forms, a 40% discount, HEALTHCARE, and an unusually large amount of free stuff. I think healthcare is the selling point for the job though. And good health care at that. 20% deductible up to $2000 then 0% after and I can go to any doctor I choose. Then 20% for medications. It's better than my parents healthcare.
