whoa! such pro video and work, great job! and being from Quebec they must have gotten crazy props. if they made this film (and all am films for that matter) available for like $4 download online, I'd pick it up.

stepts movie was sick, but affiliates were just a little better, they had a sick section that was just dope timelapses and mixed up the movie real well

affiliates was sick and they deffanatly deserve it, not gunna pull a kanye but imo i thought shoot me was better. two different styles of movie so must have been hard to judge

Congrats to ESK, good stuff!

I really liked Stept's How We Livin; Martini's segment was savage... some odd soundtrack choices though (like walker's segment.. just felt... forced)

yeah dude, I concur.  but ESK was dope.  so many of the shots were re-used in that other movie which i forgot the name of cause I got bored and left.

The world just wasn't ready for new wave music that Stept incorporated in their film. Still proud of you guys and can't wait for STEPT premiere in Boulder OCTOBER 8th, be there, or you ain't livin.

I know that having the film cheap/free would have been awesome for you guys, although i didnt have a single penny for my movie from sponsors.

At first we were supposed to have it free over the internet but once in a while we need to make a bit of money to payback our stuff (believe me we dont make much). Sorrry about that, our movie costs 15,99$ on our website with shipping included which is not too expensive I think compared to pro movies that cost 35 or 40$...

But... you have sponsors. I'm sure I just saw them when I watched the teaser. A bunch of them. But they didn't give you any money? Uncommonly kind of you to give them promotion in your movie for nothing. I'm lost.

If a kid is sponsored by Line does that mean Line gives him money?

Use your head. A sponsor helps them realize and put together the movie, whether that be with a private shoot, cross-promotion/exposure, food/supplies, equipment, etc.

You sir, are an idiot. Individual sponsorship is completely different than a movie sponsorship. Armada was one of their sponsors- do you think Armada gave all their athletes skis like Line would give to an individual they were sponsoring? point proven. I seriously doubt that all 12 of their sponsor laid out cheese plates for them at photo shoots.

That means he did not get a single penny for his movie from sponsors. What is there not to understand? Obviously individual sponsorship is different than movie sponsorship, but hey guess what...they are both sponsorship.

If Armada was a main contributor to the film, then I can almost guarantee a lot of their riders and filmers were on Armadas. What makes more sense for a ski company:

a) Sponsor a company by making sure their filmers  and a couple riders are hooked up with skis

or

b) Sending them money

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. What about premieres? give away stock? product? ski tickets? promotion (flyers, poster, adds)

A sponsor isn't just a bank. they help you grow through the industry and get stronger and I thank them for doing that. It would be way easier for me to release it free over the internet but I just can't, i would lose money. My plan isn't to make money out of ski movies but I don't want to lose some neither.

I thought it was refreshing and a nice change from the typical music. I was surprisingly amused and entertained throughout.
