Is a 177 park ski to long for me?

Okay so im 5' 11" 165 lbs im not that grea tof a park skier (i cant spin over 540) lol but i want to get better i have 177 chronics they come to my forhead are they to long for me?

You should be getting 177 or bigger.  anything shorter and you will look like a clown, or a racer who is 'freeskiing'.

i always thought park skis sshould be shorter co its easier to spin and stuff

Yeah if you are 12 years old.  You are tall.  They make long skis for a reason.  Every pair i have, including park skis, are taller than i am.  I am your height.  Smallest ski i have left is 181

^Nah, im 5'8 and got my invaders 171 with like no park experience and Ive done fine. Go 177, you wont regret it.

yeah i'm 5 '9 and got 176's, you should be fine, especially if you're centering the skis

Last season I was about 5'2 and skied the entire season on 173's. You should honestly be going bigger IMO.

You will like the added stability of a 177 instead of a smaller ski.
You won't regret it. You'll get used to it very quick

true, im 175cm and ride a 171 for dryslope, just because theyre old and i dont mind them getting wrecked, and 178 on snow.

seriously, go for a longer ski. also, good choice on the chronic

I'm 5' 8" 155 and last year I skied 176s so 177s aren't too big for you, you could even go bigger if you want.

im 5'8 and i just bought 177 afterbangs longer skis just take a little bit to get used to but look sick as hell and feel more stable

You are good man.  Last season I got 181 chronics and All I could do was a 360.  Last season I learned up to a 7, got decent on rails, and had tons of fun.  I was 5'10" last year.  You will have more fun on the longer skis.  Especially the chronic.

I am 6'1 and have used 188 cm '07 JJ's in the park before without problem
