How fun is longboarding?

Just wondering, Cause im thinking about getting one. Are they expensive? Where should I get them? and...is it that dangerous?

loaded dervishes are gret but not a real down hill board. it can handle speeds up to 30ish. great boared though

ever longboarder alive should watch claremont HD, because its just so fucking awesome.

longboarding is sssooooo much fun, its super chill, its easy to pick up, and its just so much fun.

there are alot of boards and different companys out there, if you want the nicest boards available you clould look at landyachts or loaded or some of those super high-end companyus, but there setups can run you nearly $400

the best longboard out there is the kracked skulls scimitar. krackedskullz.com
its not neccesarily the best riding, or highest quality, but its pretty damn good, and its only $150 for a complete, it is by FAR the greatest deal out there, it rides super well, and holds up through all kinds of hell

It is dangerous, just start small and work your way up, like skiing or any sport. I don't wear a helmet but i should, i have had my share of accidents. For fun though, it is so much fun, it is just fun to carve, SO MUCH FUN.

Basically you will get your board, have a blast doing steeper and steeper hills until you eat shit harder than you ever thought possible, and then say fuck this I'm sticking to chill carvers.

I got one at the beginning of summer, and I could not care less that i spent around 170$. you can have endless amounts of fun on them sliding, bombing hills, dicking around on your street. Get one. I got a 44" kracked skulls Scimitar, and its sweet. Krackedskulls.com enter "wolfpack" at the checkout to get a discount. Buy one and you wont be dissapointed

longboarding is the most fun you can have on pavement...i have a loaded dervish, best board i have ever ridden. longboarding is definatly safe, i mean you dont have to do downhill and sliding, but theres so much more to it. its a great summer alternative to skating or blading

it WAS fun until i got hit by a car and can't use my board anymore for anything other than going to class or back because it's going to snap any day now. i need moneyz for a new loaded deck.
