me like the ape vector.

you should do a huge oversized print of the ape so that it covers most of the front of the tee shirt. i would buy that.

ya i got to get this brand out there. we know the owner of our local zumiez so were going to have her sell some stuff for us. theres like 10 people who are big fans and have bought every shirt we made so i think its going good.

it costs about 20$ with all the plates and letters. i do want to make a little money off it thats why i make them like $25 bucks so i could make a little money you know. P'M me if your interested in buying anything. im not at my house and i havent made everything so i cant post everything now.

eep, if they aren't, do yourself a favor and learn to screen. It'll cut your cost in half and take you less time to make. Also, if you're really looking to move product, find a distributor for shirts and buy in bulk. there's normally a price break in increments of 50.

but, dope design, i dig it

Actually I was hoping they weren't.  He's charging $25 and he says that's because of plates and shit being expensive, but silk screening doesn't even use plates, and the costs are minimal if you have the equipment.

Thats also why I asked what sort of shirt it was.  For $25 it better not just be screen printed fruit of the loom, that costs you like $10 a shirt max if you aren't buying in bulk.

oh i assure you the shirts arent crap nowhereman. every shirt company starts out printing on Hanes (which is what i use) and Gildan. i have a line shirt back from '06 and its printed on gildan. same with getboards.com they print there shirts on hanes tagless. ive already done testing (wearing it to school and then horseplaying with your friends) they havent torn yet and the print is still on there after like 10 washes.

Is that because you don't have the machine to put the image onto the screen for you so you have to outsource it and pay to get your screens made and sprayed by someone else?

Because you could probably sign up for an ROP class at your highschool and get that shit fo freeeeeeeeee.

They're cool but you can't really expect $25 for them, even established internet companies that just screenprint on hanes beefy tees only charge $15-$20.

damn, 20 dollars to make a shirt? are you buying them one at a time?

if you order in bulk you can get that number down drastically.  order 50 or more and they are a lot cheaper, depending on where you go they can be anywhere from 2 dollars to 5 dollars.

very true but you also have to realize the time it takes to set the screens up, ink, emulsion process, the labor involved to print the shirts.

its very true especially if you are doing it yourself.

but if you shop around and outsource it can save you time and money if you do it right.

a couple weeks ago we had 60 shirts printed in a day from a company here in Portland, and they definitely did not charge us an arm and a leg.  just gotta search around and see whats available, thats all im sayin'.

ya i bought a screen printer. the reason it cost so much is because it was "flex printed". its suppost to last longer than the other way.

You can print a 2 color shirt like that about every 5 minutes though once everything is set up.
