OK, so if I bought bars for a rack for a 2002 Toyota Avalon (mid-size to big sedan), is it possible to put a ski box on one side and a kayak rack on the other? I think the car is wide enough, I've just never seen a box and a kayak rack on the same car, and I don't know if they would use the same bars.
What year? Nice car...practically a Lexus, without some of the bells and whistles. My mom is upgrading, which means it's almost time to retire the Suby with 205,000 miles on it!
Well your car would come with 50" bars according to thuleracks.com, id bet that you could get away with a 56"/58" setup. Depending on what box you have, I would say that yes you could run the box and the kayak rack if its a smaller box.
