So, the bluehouse sale is tomorrow and I need some pow skis on a budget, so im pretty sure im gonna snag a pair
Im leaning towards the maestros (118 underfoot), but im not sure between them and the mavens (139 underfoot)
here is my situation:
~my current skis are bluehouse mrs for park, and k2 seths for powder (the old ones that were 98 underfoot with no rocker) so obviously i want a bigger, rockered ski for pow
~i will be skiing these at alta, and some days brighton, so in other words, deep powder, not some east coast shit
~i am 6'2", 160 ish lbs
~these will be the go to ski for: big powder lines, cliffs, bc booters (including spinning and whatnot), big mountain lines, and trees
~i want something that will float me plenty for any snow conditions, but wont be so big that it isnt maneuverable or wont be able to spin with it
so, will the maestro have plenty of float? or should i step up to the maven? and will that be too big to be fun for booter sessions?
The biggest skis i've ever ridden are my 98 underfoot non-rockered seths, so i have no idea how much bigger i need to go.....
any input is appreciated! thanks NS
