Job help for photography

I was wondering if anyone knew whats the best way to become a photographer for a magazine or for a film crew. It would also nice if you could tell me how you became a photogragher if you are one.

First off, get good at photography, and get some legit equipment. Then meet the right people.

I became a photographer when I started taking pictures. Join the photography cult. There's a few pro's in there that will be glad to help. There's really no specified way to become a professional. Just keep working on it and if you have a talent for it, it will work out. If not, you better be willing to devote alot of time mastering your skills. Not saying you shouldn't even if you have talent but it will be harder.

weddings help, you get to build your resume and get paid, generally rates for a pro wedding photographer are like a little under 2000 bucks a pop

check out www.fredmiranda.com, they're mostly pros or incredbily good am's and they'll help you get started, that's like a quarter of what they do on there
