Looking to pick up some new skis, halp.

Yo, I'm looking to pick up a new pair of park skis for the upcoming
season. I just had a fire in my garage and my K2 disorderlys from last
year got completely wrecked. The insurance company is paying for my
replacements so money is not an issue.
The K2's I had were only 159s, and being a 145 LB, 5' 11'' guy, these
were pretty short. I only decided to go this small because I basically
just wanted a little jib ski to toss around.
This year however I definitely want something longer and I can't really
decide between the 09/10 Salomon Suspects, Volkl Walls, and the Liberty
LTEs. What do you guys recommend? I want something pretty playful and not ridiculously stiff. I was considering going
with something around a 164-166.. maybe step up to 169-171. I am going to be
mounting them with this years Marker Jesters. Chea insurance cash..
I am planning on riding mostly park but I like to get out on the groomers once and a while.
Tell me what you guys think, thanks.
Jake

I've skied the Walls, they are super fun, but a little on the stiff side, but an awesome ski that you can't go wrong with, I'm also looking into the LTE's, from what I hear they are VERY similar to the Phil Larrose Pro, but a little softer, which should be good, the bamboo core has a lot of rebound energy so that means MAD pop. As far as size, go bigger for sure (I'm 5' 8" 155 and I ski between 169-176) if you want the shorter size go 169 Wall or 171 LTE, but you could easily go with 177 Wall or the 178 LTE. Hope that helps.

^ Pretty much answered the jist of it. Do you have an idea of stiffness or poppyness desired? These 3 pairs are all a bit different. I might lean towards the walls or LTEs if I were you.
Also as far as length goes, remember 2.54cm is 1 inch. you go to a 169 ski and there is less than 2 inches more length on the tip and tail. That is nothing. It will take you a couple laps to get used to at most. I would recommend a length in the 170's at least.

From the replies here and other things I have been reading I think I am going to end up going with the LTE's . I have heard from a lot of people that the Walls are pretty stiff and I'm a huge fan of that. As for length, yeah I'll probably go 171. Any other thoughts? Good stuff so far, thanks.

Maybe try the Line anthems they're very playful and not stiff. also try the chronics maybe theyre stiffer and not as playful but still great skis
