i've brought nips into both yankee and fenway. i wouldnt suggest going with a flask or anything bigger. a few nips should be plenty for a 3 hour game i would think.
I'm of age, I just really don't want to pay those outrageous prices. The policy says only sealed water bottles. But how strict are they? Cause I'll just bring a 5th in a bag as long as they are not checking...
i have never been to fenway but i usually go to the liquor store and buy a 375 ml bottle of whiskey when i go to games. it fits perfectly in my waist band and it is not metal so the only way for them to catch you is to pat you down..
They look through bags really quickly, just a quick check for a gun or something, there aren't any metal detectors either so a flask that isn't that noticeable is you best call, you can pretty much get anything in if its in like cargo pockets or something like that, epically if you don't have a bag, cause that line just cruses through.
if your smart about it and can hide/smuggle stuff well you can get it in but they do check all bags but just quickly and they usually only check the main pocket of a bag so as long as you dont have your shit busting out of one of the smaller pockets they probably wont even check it.
and a nalgene bottle wont work because you cant bring in any bottles that are either already opened or can open and shut
good thing im an expert about bringing booze into MLB games. Ive only done it for coors field but im sure the same rules apply for fenway. Usually I buy a bottle of Mt. Dew and drink it bout two thirds of the way down then fill the rest with vodka. Or do coke and rum. I just slide the bottle into my waist. Now you can walk in and enjoy. Ive done it probably 7or 8 times this year. Real fun. Just make sure the bottle looks sealed if you dont wanna waist band it. I have carried the bottle of coke in to and the ticket agent asked me was if the bottle was sealed. have fun
The real secret is start by making a 50/50 rum and coke before you even go into the game and slam that as you are walking around the stadium pre-game, enjoying brats and such. This will get your initial buzz going. Then you should have a 2nd bottle filled with straight booze. Smuggle this in via wedging it in your pants near your junk or small of your back. When you get into the game buy a large coke, drink some, and then pour the contents of your smuggled alcohol into it. This way you will maximize your drinking. Bringing a pre-mixed cocktail goes way too fast.
This is kinda complicated but generally foolproof. Tie a string around the neck of the water bottle, tie the other end of the string around the string thats connected to the button of your shorts, button your shorts and let the bottle hang down right in front of or right below your balls.
Its not anywhere close to Fenway, but if you go to Boston Garden, go like 3 blocks over, you'll be at the Fours. Best sports bar in america. Then you can take the metro to Yawkey.
If you deem yourself a beer connoisseur i like Boston Beer Works, it's just around the corner from Fenway and they have a huge list of specialty beers. Food is pretty solid and not too expensive, so it's a pretty good place to eat late afternoon before a night game. Doesn't get as crowded as some of the other spots around Fenway like Cask n Flagon
just went to a few football/baseball games, for a body check they literally just look at you , then check your back, like run a hand up your spin and around your back waist
