They added the Ghost and the Shogun this year which look like the SPKs, but are much narrower, lower volume boots. Sorry, I don't have any specifics for you off the top of my head.
Ghost was added last year, 98mm last, 2 buckle freeride version of the Falcon mold. All the fun freeride featurs (neoprene toe box on the liner, abs shock absorbing bootboard under the liner, rubber treaded sole for hiking).
Shogun is the newest freeride boot, 100mm last, same 2 buckle design, but comes out of the Impact mold. Same freeride specific features as the Ghost, just lower flex rating and a bit more volume.
If it wasn't for the fact that Full Tilts make my feet happy, I'd totally ride Ghosts, that boot is smoking.
my foot is HANGARD from years of soccer, rugby and kickboxing.
this leaves me with numerous painful spots on my foot while wearing boots, so i was lookin for a larger volume boot to see if this would solve some issues. the shop i work at is getting them in so i can try them on, i am just impatient and wanted to know lol.
I hear ya, I'm always impatient this time of the year, although as far as hardgoods go, we're like 75% shipped, and the stuff that isn't in yet we ordered on a late ship date. It's the first year I've ever seen every company so on top of their game. Even Salomon who always has SOME problem (dock worker strike in france, product held in customs, delays in their new warehouse, etc) in my 4 years in a shop, they're on 25% for on time ship, and I think the two years before that there were issues too.
The new rubber toe cap on the them looks like probably the best advancement in ski boots ever...That's the only thing I can complain about my SPK Pros from last year. I guess they are just the best boots ever now.
