I have to say, re-watching Pull Up, his... 2005? 2006? Movie

I think he is probably one of the greater skiers of all time, Like Shane is up there for Big Mountain, Tanner for everything, T-Wall will be up there for jibbing but just like Tanner, Candide was an all round legend.

Pull up had some Crazy tricks! There was 360 switch up to 270 out of the gapped boxs, 810 to rail, Lincoln off the rail? (Mcmurray style), switch 2 on switch up,switch up to 270 out on a flat down, whacked urban jibs, most crazy tweaked tail grabs, HUGE super park hits, Chad Gap, Crazy step up hits that he had at his invitiational ( Before Jon had his)

Not to mention all his X game runs in Slopstyle and Halfpipe.

Like even though the only grab he ever does is tail grab, he is a Crazy skiier.

Just enjoyed re-realising how great Candide is, looking forward to seeing more recent footage

candide always had the most different style. i had a love hate relationship with the pole plant spin but good fuck, he is so good.

anyone remember the cork 5 over the hip in Happy Dayz? just fucking enormous.

im also REALLY enjoying Candide Kamera. his BM style reminds me of skating bowl...multiple hits and slashes in one fluid run

Holy crap, I'm so stoked on this. The Rastafaride series is what got me into freeskiing, and Candide has been one of favs since the beginning. Annecy represent.

For an old guy like me (34) Coming from ”Normal” old school hotdog like skiing, Candide was one of the first who could bring in the new styles and tricks. He was one of the guys who got me re stoked on skiing. He might not be the best at every thing, but he is for certain one of the most versatile out there. X-games gold in pipe and park and super skills in the powder.

Candide is the man.  He has been such an innovator for the sport, and been the first to do so many things.  X Games gold in Big Air, Slope, and Pipe!  Plus he's a super laid back and chill guy!

P.S. Even though he does do mad tail grabs, he definitely does do mutes, and noses, and truckdrivers and bull.

True but you check Pull up and every single grab is tail, but yeah I havnt seen to much of his footage, except Candide Kamera which was sick, especially that 1080 after doing a huge Big mountain run
Funny that so many people mentioned his pole plants cause I noticed them as well.

Anyone know what song is on Candide Kamera #1 and where to get it?

i've always know of candide but never really looked into him but wow. Candide Kamera was amazing, beautiful, an inspiration. it's skyrocketed to my the number one spot in my top video segments.
