i have some silencers and i want to remount them from 5 back to either 2 back or core center. do the silencers ride good core center? or is two back the closest i should get to center before ruining the performance of the ski?
Silencer's were my first "park" ski, I had them center mounted and I rode them 50% park/50% groomers and they were really fun. I see no problem with you mounting them core center.
i had them last year the red ones. they are a great durable price point ski. i beat the shit out of mine and by the end of the season the edges blew out on one ski. but for 180 dollars they rode nice and were a great combination of stiff but still had a lot of pop. consequently i bought another pair for this year cause i got them for like 125 bucks. but yah i dont know how hard u ride but they may not last you longer than 1 season.
They ride smooth. It is a poppy wood core ski that we offer for a deal. It isn't the flashiest ski, hence the name, but it gets the job done well and holds up to abuse. Matt Margett's slopestyle ski of choice.
^^ An eagle eye will notice Frank Raymond on some in The Massive...
I have some too that I have for playing around on, backyard rail sessions, urban, test laps after setting up the park etc. For the price it is a very good ski. I have around 40 days on mine and would consider them at half life... ? Obviously there are better skis out there so note that I said it is a good ski for the price. It isn't the lightest ski but who cares. It has some pop to it and overall it will rip down the groomers or hold up to a lap through the park.
