Armada Pipe Cleaner Center Mount?

So i've skied approx 15 days on my 2008 181cm Armada PC's and mounted them @ true center ... Used a tape measure etc ...
I ll admit the first few runs did feel awkward and carving was amusing but by lunch time i had everything sussed ... Spinning is ridiculously easy on these and i couldnt be more stoked on the center mount :)
One glitch ill add is i have to be cautious when taking off switch as with soooo much tail these do have a tendency to catch pre take off but that just could be my lack of experience lol ...
Anyway was just wondering where other NSers mounted their PC's or AR6 and how they feel about park performance at that mount?

u should remount them at -3 unless u ski a lot backwards. or get them mounted at core centre

I don't know if I would re-mount them. I had mine at -2 and loved em. I swear there have been 3 threads on this exact same topic in the past week...

I just feel more confident with a ski center mounted when spinning a bunch or jibbin to my hearts content ... But these dont "feel" right when im charging down the groomers or getting my game on all-mountain ... But you have to compromise somewhere i guess ...

Same, and same. They always end up with a few people who mounted center and for some reason believe that there is no other way to mount a ski, and other(most) people saying about the -2.5 mark, which IMO like I have always said makes more sense. The skis were designed to be mounted back from center and perform there...Armadas team mounts them back, usually 2-3, and I think T Hall has the most forward mount of -1.5. If you think they are unstable on groomers go 2.5-3.5 back and you will notice a difference.

i was talking to the guy at my shop and he asked where am i going to mount my ar6's and i said either 1.5 or 2.5 back. he said go 1.5 because i would have been contact points on the snow or something like that? i dont know but i do 50% park/ 50% out of the park, but i usually ride rails in the park so im thinking 1.5 back..haha i dont know, i just cant decide

-2.5 is the sweet spot, that's why Armada recommends it. That's where mine are and I really can't tell much of a difference between those at -2.5 or my AR5s at center.
All times are Eastern (-5)
