wow this thread is filled with fuckin retards, I can bet that no one in this thread even tryed coreupts. I'm not saying they are good or bad I didn't try them. They are NOT dynastar anymore they were only for the first year now it's brand new skis so no one can tell if they are good. Sorry I can't help you with your question but don't listen to these guys who just talk shit about stuff they don't know.

I have skied on CoreUPT's and I enjoyed them. They're stiff, so not really my cup of tea, but you can't fault their stability and design.

you skied the 09-10 skis? if not you just skied some dynastar...

Those were like a 6 year old mold, no change but grahic.  2010 CoreUpts could be great or suck, we have no idea, but I think they took last season trying some different shapes since they obviously weren't skiing super old bricks if they had much choice.

Also the current Dynastars(superpipe, etc.) seem to be loved, so the hate should be at old Dynastars that are old enough to not be on the market anymore(except the CoreUpts that will be floating around from 09).

yaaa i hate that soo much. it happens alot unfortunately... but i have no clue what coreupts are like i know what dynastars are like and they arent that great. but since its new skis this year not dynastars idk how they will perform

so nobody knows how to get the skis into the cart?
idk about the negative/positive comments on the skis. i think, i want to try them myself, if they really are as bad as people are saying.

Yes I do make sens. He sayd that the CoreUPT skis were shit no that their marketing was shit. I agree with you I really doubt I will buy CoreUPTs for various reasons. But I wont start saying their SKIS are crap because I dont like their marketing, we are talking about the skis not the brand.

Coreupt.com opened a rising period during which you could seee th range. Now you can pre-order your skis and you can "add to cart" your reservation : the button as appeared ! I guess the full purchase will be availaible in the coming weeks

Look, let's just set the record totally straight.
CoreUPT officially popped up on the scene right before last season (like, September-October 2008), so the company and the riders did not have time to design their own skis and create new molds.  I imagine that they were more concerned with getting the brand out there and gaining some notoriety and some money to help fund their line for the following year.  This company was founded by Candide Thovex, a very famous skier but a skier nonetheless. 

Holy shit, that last sentence rhymed and had rhythm.  Dirty. 

So anyway, this company was founded by skiers, not some businessman with a ton of money to invest.  They needed capital.  So even if they had had the time, they most likely did not have enough money to come right out the gate with a whole line of all-new skis.  So they used some old Dynastar molds for just the 08/09 season and put their own graphics on.  The point was really to get the company off the ground.  For this season, all their skis are brand new, designed from the ground up by the pros whose name the skis bear.  Whatever similarities the 09/10 CoreUPTs share with the 08/09 CoreUPTs are qualities that the riders decided to keep because they liked.  Furthermore, all the things that you hated about the 08/09 CoreUPTs are probably gone from this season's line.

So it is unfair to judge CoreUPT and call them the worst skis ever based on last season's line, because last season's line were Dynastars with CoreUPT graphics, while this season's line is comprised entirely of all-new skis.  So any hate you shoot at CoreUPT for last year's stuff is really hate on Dynastar, which I'm totally cool with. 

Now, if you ride skis from the 09/10 line and decide that they are, in fact, the worst skis ever, then that's a different story.  But somehow, I highly doubt that that will happen.  Because I don't know about you, but I trust Candide, Teej, Colby, Candide again, and all those other crazy Frenchies (no offense to all you Frenchies and French Canadians, I personally think French people kick ass--shout out to Seb, Christophe, Simon, and the other Seb, who undoubtedly do not know who this is) to design some really sick skis.
