Concerning the treatment of female NSers

Alright guys, serious moment here.

Over the last few days, there has been a spike in rather sexist remarks. I've been getting complaints, and I'm rather pissed off myself at the level of maturity my fellow skiers are demonstrating.

We often wonder why more girls dont get involved in freestyle skiing and its community. Why a girl with twin tips is such a rarity. Based on what I've seen recently, why would a girl want to be a part of this community? We complain that there arent enough freestlye skier babes, but then will reply to a girls post with "Get back to the kitchen LOL>"

Its not funny. Its pissing me and many of the established members off. If you cant control your 15 year old hormonal balance, take a break from NS for a while. If I or another mod see you demonstrate that you cannot, we will take the liberty of giving you that break.

I am guilty of the charge, but only because the female involved happened to be down for the joke as well... I think everyone realizes it's a joke,

Also if we were to somehow see the day when this disappeared it would be a new age of the internet.

I Agree that no one should hold a different view of what is being said based on the color of a name. And in general I think this happens, I understand the jokes are old.. And I also agree that 4 chan belongs on 4 chan, and kitty talk belongs on pictures of cats. I will personally hate you for the rest of your being if you cannot succeed in typing word wityh the intention of being correct..  "I iz gud at teh skiingz" = the mark of the retard

girls arent as good at skiing! nothing about money, population, just that guys are more adept at physical things

that said, my girlfriend shreds, but i have to whip her (figuratively) into getting better, she takes it like a champ.

The problem in the park is pretty real, half the time i'm trying to do something in the park a guy will be there to make a derogitory comment. It doesn't phase me now but when I was younger just starting park it kept me out for a couple of seasons. Now I just get them back or ignore it.  Saying that what's said on here isn't really bad until someone takes it too far, I doesn't bother me at all it's usually warranted by something some stupid girl says I doubt it keeps many girls off here.  Skiing girls are usually tougher than that and it seems to be going both ways lately with sexist comments made agains thte guys aswell.

ok so i realize i'm not necessarily a "respected" member on this site (with both males and females) but i kinda feel like i should voice my opinion and stick up for my ladies. yes the comments are getting old but i don't really take them to heart (not speaking for other members) but it is annoying when i see some girls who seem to know their shit get pushed to the side just because of the pink name.

no one seems to tell milfy/beezey/k2e to get back to the kitchen because well they know they'll get annihilated, so why do it to some of the best pink names on this site? anyways that's my 2¢..i'll GTFO.


oh and one more thing...sorry girls but we can't kill it like some of the boys. we might be able to throw down the same tricks or in my case keep up with them in the trees but we will never get the same amount of credit. take a look at the difference in check amounts at competitions...girls get like $200 while the boys get 4-5 times that amount :(

The level of intelligence, average age (hormonal young boys), non-stop hate on ALL accounts, and general douchebaggery that has ruined NS in the past few years pisses me off a lot more than some 15 year old boy making a sexist comment.

Who the fuck cares..... most of the members on here now are lame anyways. Bring back the old NS when the ladies men cult ACTUALLY gave advice and you could state your opinion without wondering how many seconds it will take for someone to shoot you down viciously until tens of other members join in and beat you to a pulp.
