I know the 09 anthems are great on rails but i was wondering how they did on groomers and jumps? Are they like the chronics in those areas or better?I was originally gonna get the chronics but thy werent my size and i found the 09 anthems for crazy cheep which is why im not getting the 10s. ++k
i have only ridden anthems for a few runs..they were way fun on jumps..i like a really soft ski..and im used to jumping on rockered skis..so these seemed incredibly stable on landings..oh and they seemed pretty light compared to my ll2's..rails were super fun on anthems..i would get them if you can get them for cheap. they are definatly a fun ski....
I cant be sure because Ive never ridden them before but judging by there width they must do decent or at least better than most other park skis in the backcountry
ya they´re a stable all mountain parkish ski. the wider underfoot gives extra width on rails.
they might be a bit soft for huge jumps if you tend to land backseated. ya but theyre really playful and if u want a park ski with which you can still hit pow, they seem like what ur looking for. but be fast, this years are fully symmtrical, so they wont be as sick in pow.
u might also want to look at ON3P´s jeronnimo or billy goat. they seem to fit the deal and the price is also reasonable.
