What is your favorite beer pong rule

Ok I know there are a million threads about beer pong/beruit or what ever but not recent and I just want to know your favorite not your whole house rules

That being said...
We play "iso" rule. If there is a cup not being touch by any other cup, because you made the connecting cups (not because or sliding on a wet table). If you say "iso" and sink it, it is worth two cups. If you miss or make it in a cup that you didn't call, it doesn't count.
Cannot re-rack into an iso and must have 4 or more cups left on the table.


What are your favorite or most fucked up rules?

you make me want to go put on my best khakis and a sweater vest and set up the pitch for a rousing game of beer pong with my mates.

only cheating i've ever done in this game is the occasional late-night attempt to crawl under the table and sneak 2 balls into a cup right under their noses, then go back quickly and wildly celebrate as if the game is over

You all have troll wrong. You don't just sit under the table. You sit under the table and have to drink whatever people pass you.

We play 2 re racks.
Island, lone cup or Iso (wtf) You have to call it, if you make it in a different cup it doesnt cup
same cup 3 cups ball back
bounce is 2 but you can block
Ball rolls back on the table and you get it, trick shot (behind the back)
Overtime goes to three cups one beer.

and the airball rule sucks. You can win by just making one or two shots and catching airballs. Its stupid.

We do play a game called random pong. Its better when youre really drunk.
You take 15 cups and only fill 10. Then you arrange the cups on youre half of the table while the other team is put of the room. (There is a trust factor when you are out of the room that they dont look). Then you play pong. If you make a cup, pull it, drink it, replace it. Same pong rules apply except, if you make an empty cup it doesn't count toward a bring back. You have to remember what cups are empty and try to make the full ones. It may not sound too fun but try it when youre drunk. Its hard and fun.
Also, making fun arrangements with the cups makes it hard.

i play this rule. only ever seen it happen once though and it was funny as shit. but if you are playing 10 cup and you can't make a cup you deserve to sit under the table.

sorry for the double post.
another fun rule is scatter plot. you fill 10 cups with 3 beers then you can put them anywhere on your side of the table. like a scatter plot.

I wouldn't even attempt it with my close friends, we're the same way and take our pong a little too serious sometimes: verbal altercations,fights, ceasation of friendship, etc.  But when amatures step up to the table or mildly retarded girls, sometimes you gotta fuck with them.

Are we the only people that call it Satellite instead of Iso/island/lone cup?

We also play gentleman's rerack, and also swagger stagger rerack. I think the swagger stagger was made up by this senior, cuz hes the one that put it on urban dictionary, haha

heres the definition


Two-Three Stagger:
A 5 cup re-rack in beer pong in which cups are vertically aligned, with 3 on the left and 2 on the right. This rack is also referred to as the "D" or the "Swagger Stagger."

I played a game where we stacked the cups up on each other and made pyramids. I don't remember the  rules we made...but it was sick.

I've played with some people that play that after the ball is thrown and hits cups/table it is fare game. needless to say this results in epic chases and struggles around the room, usually ending in a wrestling match for the ball. if the team that threw it gets it, its behind the back.

the battleship variant sounds like fun, might have to try it.

if you dont re-rack on 10 cup the other team doesn't get a rebuttle is probably my favorite.  All i need now is my own table so i can actually enforce it.

Shutout= naked lap around the house. 

Rockstar rule= this is kind of the default.  You have to drink all of your beer before you shoot.

on another note, I agree with some others here the drink before you shoot rule is always in affect, I don't care if you're a girl or a guy, finish what's in your hand before you shoot, unless it's a side beer.


AND fingering and blowing is a bitch move that is not tolerated at my house

Best rule round here is that if someone on the other team is drinking a cup and u shoot it into the cup while they are holding it, game over. sometimes u can catch people off guard and its glorious

Loner= iso rule
bring em back (each person made a cup)
1cup->heating up -> fire shot til you miss
bounce = 2 cups
 if the ball bounces back to your side you get a behind the back shot or opposite hand shot

The way we do troll is your troll if you dont make a cup in a game. if you become troll you have to sit under the table and drink for every cup scored the next game. so if anyone trolls in our games your guaranteed to have at least one hammered person at the party haha

the best part is its always the girls who troll, so they get fuckedd up

Wow I never knew half these rules because when we play it's usually just for fun.  But I was playing with my room mate and he started saying all these rules and shit.  Whatever may sound lame but it's always a good time.

favorite rule:
shafted rule

when there are 4 cups left on the table, the first team to have 4 cups and asks for a rack gets a diamond, and when the second team gets to 4 cups left they get the dick rack, 2 cups side by side at the bottom, then 2 in a row. so funny and people get so mad when they dont know the rules and ask for a rack and get shafted.

good for you Ju, probably b/c your competition sucks, my favorite rule of pong is that if there is only two cups left, and you sink a bounce, its an automatic win, no rebuttles whatsoever.
