What is your favorite beer pong rule

Ok I know there are a million threads about beer pong/beruit or what ever but not recent and I just want to know your favorite not your whole house rules

That being said...
We play "iso" rule. If there is a cup not being touch by any other cup, because you made the connecting cups (not because or sliding on a wet table). If you say "iso" and sink it, it is worth two cups. If you miss or make it in a cup that you didn't call, it doesn't count.
Cannot re-rack into an iso and must have 4 or more cups left on the table.

seriously? everyone knows what iso is. my favorite rule is if you make 4 in a row, you have to drop trou and shit in one of their remaining cups.

Everywhere I go, no one has heard of that rule. I know its not original to me but its my favorite. (Ive been to Tennessee many schools in Ohio and Michigan and OK st and only our friends knew the rules)
I hope your rule is a joke or not practiced lol

Baller catch, if the other team over throws and you catch the ball without bobbling they pull a cup, usually enhanced with a solid rideway and epic claims after wards. Also know as over throw. Must be a baller to capitalize.

We dont play with any super weird or original rules, but my personal favorite rule is balls back...cuz there is nothing like wrecking a team in 3 minutes.

gentleman's. if the ball rolls back after a missed cup and remains on the table you may snatch it and shoot again but must do so behind one's back.

Island rule = Iso rule.

Airballs = losing a cup.
If you don't make a single cup in an entire game, you have to be the troll under the table until someone else doesn't make a cup in a game. The troll has to just sit there under the table and be really annoying.

^This and NBA JAM style, if you hit two cups in a row you call "heating up"  If you make your next shot you get to keep shooting untill you miss.

same rule as yours, except called loner. my favorite is if at the end, if your opponent wins, you still get one last chance and its shoot till you miss.

Ring of Fire= WIN , definitely shows your acuracy skills in be pong

Rebounds= if the ball bounces off the cup you have a few seconds to do a fade away shot, if you make it one cup goes, then it's still your turn

these are the rules i play



2 racks
bounces 2 cups
skill shot 2 cups
ball in drinking cup or 2 balls in one cup automatic loss
ball in your own cup automattic loss
roll backs are behind the back
kareem abdul jabar shot is 2 cups
cant win on a guest shot

my favorite rule is the bun run. if you make all the cups before the other team has a chance to get a re-rack, they gotta run around the house naked. so funny.

we play that too. if you then make your next turn (4th cup) you are En Fuego and you have to put an empty thirty on your head which you cant touch with your hands and then you shoot.

Well, my house's most lethal rule is definitely this: If one recovers a rollback and the other team has one cup left, then that person makes the rollback (behind the back) the losing team owes a naked lap. In my own house, this rule has gotten me once. I have given, however, 2 sets of naked laps haha

Island is stupid though unless you have repercussions.  I like to play that if you hit the island, its two cups, but if you miss, you drink one of yours.  Otherwise why not call island all day?

We play master exploder at my house.  No pull cup between shots, if you make both balls in a single cup, they have to pull every cup touching the one that got dub raped plus balls back.

Also, rodeo bounces are only worth one cup, but they can't be blocked.

Best rule of all though is for overtime.  In the event of overtime, all lights are turned off except these two giant red and green spotlights i have crossing the middle line of the table and The Final Countdown is blasted.  The epicness is amazing

oh and rebound...if you catch the ball after it has bounced off a cup (without it touching anything else...table, wall, ect) then you get a free shot...good for the nights when you have a ton of people over and need to speed up games.

confringio - if your partner yells confringio as you throw, then you just whip it at their cups, and you knock over a cup, it's out. they don't have to drink but the cups down

as for my favorite rule we play in beer pong...


NO EASY BUCKETS - Once per game, whenever you want to, you or your partner can swat an incoming ball out of the air. you MUST yell no easy buckets or it doesn't count and you lose a cup. Best rule ever to play when people aren't expecting it.


I have a few other rules I like to play, but that is by far my favorite.

I play Iso (still counts even if there are only 2 cups left), deathcup, troll, ring of fire (if you hit middle cup and all three corners, you win), bounce off anything except another cup, finger/blow, interference = cup against, balls back if you both make it, ball back eyes closed or behind back if you get it back (everything not the floor still counts as table), eye to eye, 2 cup rebuttle, elbows don't count for girls, dirtyball must be called and can be swatted, you get 2 reracks, and grenade rule.

Personally I think ring of fire and finger/blow are dumb though, and I think grenade should be max 3 cups, but its not my house, so there you go.  Seeing as Iso counts down to 2 cups I always just straight line, hit the middle one, and iso for the kill, so up to 4 cups is probably a good idea.

Oh btw finger/blow means that if the ball is in the cup but spinning around the rim and you can pluck it out and if no beer comes out with it that ball doesn't count.  Girls have to blow it out, which is easier.

Also, to whoever said they play 2 bounces into the same cup = game over, I would do that shit all the time that isn't even hard.

I want to as well. My favorite rule is gentleman's shots. If the ball hits the ground off the sides of the table, or if it rolls back to you, its fair game, first to get to it must then shoot lefty ( or righty if your left handed),  if it happens twice in a row you have to shoot behind the back, three times in a row you have to head it.

Thats funny we play that if you are down to one cup, the other team moves it back and center for you, and call that gentleman's rule.  It makes sense, but to be fair we don't have a name for the getting the ball back rule.

Yea, we've got gentleman's re-rack, gentleman's shots, and gentleman's if you lose you gotta drink all the beer remaining in everyone's cups. We are the most polite beer pong players ever

Its funny, beer pong is basically the only thing in my life that I've never cheated at.  I cheat at everything, school, sports, cards, I'd even cheat at skiing if it was possible, but not beer pong.  Tis a gentleman's sport.
