its too bad that when people up their rail trickery they also adopt the same steeze as everyone else. i wouldn't have been able to tell that was dumont, but you can always tell its him in the pipe and on jumps.
mediocre rail footy. i saw like 2 pretzels the whole time. the rest was just a shitload of swaps. i see most of that every weekend in the park from non pros. that plus a clear attempt to jump on the rideaway bandwagon.... meh from me.
not really in the debating mood right now, but here we go. I counted 4 pretzels, one was a 450 out and one was lip 2 in; pretzels aren't the only tricks out there anyway. He had some sick switch lips, and, yes, he had a lot of switch ups, some 360's no less. Furthermore, I see his landings as "stomp the shit out of that trick" instead of stupid forced "put your hands behind your back after an awkward landing and it will look cool." I'm not always the biggest Dumont fan, but I was stoked after watching this video.
i wish people on ns were more like you guys. instead of arguing for 3 pages, its agreed that everyone has their own opinion and to carry on with the thread. +k to you both.
personally i like dumont and im happy to see him slaying rails
thats funny i felt like half the kids i know who slay rails and dont get paid could put out a much more gangsta edit, with a real style, not someone else's.
Agreed, ive seen 15 year old kids do 90& of the tricks at PC every day, not to meantion every edit on NS does roughly 75% of the tricks in that edit. The only impressive trick was the lip to pretzel 2 (also the only blind pretzel in the whole edit) every other pretzel was some trick with a swap to front side pretzel (kind of weak). Overall, there are kids who don't get paid a dime that can do all the tricks he did plus a shit ton more.
well yeah but i mean i was just sticking up for him i thought the edit was fun to watch its just a rail edit he probably spent like an afternoon filming there isn't really a whole lot of a need to get ridiculously critical about it. its not like it was a sunset heli shoot
Why can no body just accept a dumont video? Honestly, its a day in the park. I thought the tricks were decent. Not every edit has to have something that will blow your mind in it. It's obviously just a fun edit, if It were more serious the shots would be better and it would probably have a different song.
