Solid skiing mp3/ipod and headphone combinations?

so im looking for a smaller mp3 or ipod(like the shuffle), with some headphones that have fairly good sound quality. any thoughts on a small music player that has 1 or 2 gb and has fairly good battery when its cold?  and for headphones something that doesn't fall out when hitting jumps and is pretty unbreakable?  ive previously owned a shuffle,  and really liked it,  but apple headphones suck imo.  any thoughts would be apprectiated.

ye shuffles are good to ride with always swap my itouch for the shuffle when on the hill....as for headphones checkout skullcandy they pretty sweet and have decetnt sound quality!

If you keep your ipod or whatever close to your body it shouldn't get too cold.

bose in ear headphones, have the best sound quality and most compfortable headphones i have used.  they are far better than any of skullcandy's in ear headphones.  get them and you will listen to music the way it was meant to be heard

sounds good so a shuffle and some scull candies or if im feeling rich boses?

any thoughts on some cheaper headphones other than skull candies  that sound good and are hard to blow/break?  or should i just hit up skull candies

idk if u want good sound then look up Sennheiser. i think they have small enough headphones to ski with and their sound quality is incredible

sounds good.  by the way has anyone tried wearing icons under a helmet?  does it work?

no it dosnt, but you can wear them sideways on or under your helmet

Actually i was wearing a pair of icons under my bern macon and baker helmets and they were fine. As far as mp3 players if your looking for something cheep i found this thing made by samsung that looks like a pebble but on the other side kind of like a shuffle. Its got 2 gigs and cost aboot 10 bucks.

personally i hate the in ear headphones (ones with rubber shit that you shove in your ear) i like the style of the regular ipod headphones. did sonme research and found a brand called yuin. if your lookin for the best sound youll ever hear for an earbud and even in ear id say grab the pk2's there sickness.. found this tread (http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f103/yuin-pk2-earbud-killer-mini-review-212710/) thought it helped give some info. they run around 70 to 80 dollars deff worth the money
