Campus Crime Alert, Tappan Hall - Oxford Campus

Two female students reported to Miami University police that they awoke
at 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, to find a male subject had entered
their unlocked residence hall room in Tappan Hall. The male appeared to
be masturbating, and he left the room when he was confronted by the
residents.
No one was injured. The residents reported that a cell phone was missing after the incident. University police are investigating.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, with short hair.
Students are reminded to keep their room doors locked any time the room is empty or when they are sleeping. Call 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity.
